Frequently asked questions
If you can’t find an answer below, just call or message us — we are happy to chat through your specific situation.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No flat call-out fee inside our standard coverage area during working hours (Mon–Sat 08:00–20:00). After-hours and Sunday emergency dispatches carry an RM 180 charge, which is waived if you proceed with paid repair work on site.
How quickly can you arrive?
Emergency call-outs anywhere inside Kuala Lumpur usually arrive in under 90 minutes. For scheduled work we typically offer same-day or next-day visits, with a two-hour arrival window. You will get a WhatsApp message with your technician’s name and tracking before they leave the workshop.
Are your plumbers actually licensed?
Yes. Every Sky Forma technician holds a current SPAN qualification and is covered by company public liability insurance. We are happy to share certificate copies on request — just let us know during the booking call.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, DuitNow / FPX online transfer (most popular), and Visa or Mastercard accepted on site through a portable terminal. A printed or e-receipt is issued for every job, with full SST breakdown where applicable.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Workmanship is covered for six months on plumbing repairs and twelve months on major renovation work. Manufacturer warranty applies separately on any parts we supply (water heaters, taps, dishwashers, etc.). We do not require a service contract — the cover travels with the job.
Will you tear down a lot of wall to find a leak?
No, and we work hard not to. We use acoustic listening tools, thermal imaging, and pressure-isolation testing to locate the leak before opening anything. In nine cases out of ten that means a single tile or one small panel is removed for the repair, not a whole bathroom wall.
Can you help with strata or condo management approvals?
Yes. We work inside Klang Valley condos every day, so we are familiar with the routines — work permits, deposit slips, lift bookings, hot-work clearance. We can prepare the paperwork side of things on your behalf if that helps.
Do you handle just plumbing, or full renovations too?
Both. We do small one-hour jobs (a tap, a leaking flexi-hose) as well as full bathroom refits taking two to three weeks. For renovations we use our own in-house tiler and electrician — not subcontractors.
