1. About us
These terms apply between you (the “customer”) and Sky Forma Home Care Sdn Bhd, registered in Malaysia under business reg. no. 202402048719, with its office at 8A, Jalan Ampang, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur (“Sky Forma”).
2. How a job is booked
A job is booked when you confirm a quote we have given you, in writing or verbally. We will send a written summary to your email or WhatsApp confirming the agreed scope, the agreed price, and a date or window for the visit. That summary forms our agreement with you, alongside these general terms.
3. Quotes and prices
Quotes are based on the information given at the time. If, once on site, we find additional work that needs to happen (for example a corroded valve behind a wall that needs replacement), we will stop, explain the situation, and provide an updated quote for your approval before continuing. You are never charged for work you have not authorised.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the agreed work, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing for larger projects (e.g. renovations, where staged payments are common). We accept cash, DuitNow / FPX online transfer, and Visa/Mastercard on site. A full receipt is issued.
5. Cancellation
We do not charge for cancellations or rescheduling made at least four hours before the appointment. Same-day cancellations made after the technician has dispatched may carry a small dispatch fee (typically RM 80) to cover transport.
6. Workmanship guarantee
We cover workmanship for six months on plumbing repairs and twelve months on renovation work. If something covered by the guarantee fails, contact us and we will return to inspect and rectify at our cost. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party work performed after our visit, or normal wear of consumable parts (gaskets, washers, etc.).
7. Manufacturer warranty on parts
Where we supply parts (taps, water heaters, dishwashers etc.) those carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We are happy to assist with any warranty claim — labour during a manufacturer claim may be chargeable.
8. Access and safety
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, to inform us of any known hazards (asbestos, electrical issues, etc.), and to keep children and pets clear of work zones during a visit. Where strata or building management approvals are required, you are responsible for them — we are happy to help with the paperwork.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of rental income, time off work, etc.). Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved between us will be heard by the courts of Malaysia.
