Sky Forma Home Care Sdn Bhd (“Sky Forma”, “we”, “us”) operates the website skyforma.help and provides residential plumbing and home-maintenance services in the Klang Valley region of Malaysia. We respect your privacy and comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. Who controls your data
The data controller for the information described in this policy is Sky Forma Home Care Sdn Bhd, registered in Malaysia (business registration no. 202402048719) at 8A, Jalan Ampang, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. You can reach our PDPA officer by email at [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you submit our contact form or speak to us we typically collect: full name, mobile number, email address, the type of service you are enquiring about, and any free-text description you provide. When we visit your home we may additionally hold the service address, the unit number, and access notes given to us by you or your building management.
Browsing data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed is collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and performance purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
3. Why we use your information
We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, schedule appointments, deliver our services, send invoices and receipts, communicate about ongoing jobs, and fulfil any legal obligations such as warranty or tax record-keeping. We do not sell, rent, or exchange your information with third parties for marketing.
4. Lawful basis
We process your information based on (a) your consent (e.g. when you tick the consent box on our form), (b) the performance of a contract for services you have asked us to provide, and (c) compliance with legal obligations under Malaysian law.
5. Who we share data with
We share information only with trusted partners who help us run the business — for example, our hosting provider, accounting platform, and (where relevant) suppliers of parts you have ordered. All such partners are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
6. How long we keep your data
Enquiries we do not convert into jobs are deleted within 12 months. Customer records related to completed work are kept for 7 years for tax and warranty purposes, after which they are securely destroyed.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, request deletion (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations), and withdraw any consent you have given. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 21 days.
8. Security
We use HTTPS across our website, store records on managed cloud services with access controls, and limit access to your data to staff who need it to deliver our service. No system is perfect — but we take it seriously.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and indicate the change at the top. Continued use of our service after the change means you accept the revised version.
